Family come over to share festive times,
When they sing carols most of them have a chime.
They have fun all day and all night,
Sometimes they even have a tickle fight.

Every Christmas tree has its own special touch,
Sometimes people put on a little bit too much.
The Christmas tree is a glorious thing to see,
Oh, how it sparkles so merrily.

Food is good at this time of year,
Come and eat the turkey … it is here!
Christmas pudding is very good,
Covered in cream, it is a dream.

Next to the piano I sit with my Dad,
Singing carols makes me so glad.
Writing a song under Christmas tree lights,
Singing carols all night.

Santa checks his list twice,
To see just who has been naughty or nice.
Only the good children get gifts, young and old,
The naughty ones get a piece of coal!
